FASB Nonprofit Financial Standards Update

In August 2016, the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) issued new rules for nonprofits financial reporting. This is the first major set of changes to nonprofit financial statement presentation standards since 1993.

Here’s what we’ll cover:

  1. Identify the 5 changes to your organization’s financial statement
  2. Helpful questions your management can ask when preparing to implement the standard
  3. Identify how organizational policies might change as a result of the standard
