RHDD provides a wide range of services for people with a developmental disability in order to foster their independence. We started in 1976 with twelve individuals in a single group home and have since grown to nearly 200 residents served by over 200 employees. We provide a home and a “family” where individuals become more independent every single day.
We’ve been working with Gary Brown of Brady Ware for over 15 years. I can call Gary to find out anything at all about the Medicaid waiver system, as well as any nonprofit accounting issues. He is a priceless resource to this agency. Everybody in our field knows and respects Gary. He truly cares about this vulnerable group of people, which is uncommon in my experience with CPA firms.
Recently, Gary helped us negotiate with a County Board regarding receivables we had been unable to collect. The services were authorized and had been provided, but funding had not been allocated into the cost projection tool for this individual. Because of Gary’s extensive knowledge of the Medicaid system, and ability to work collaboratively with this County Board, RHDD collected a substantial amount of revenue that was otherwise lost to us.
Brady Ware’s Long-Term Care advisors champion the cause of the developmentally disabled with knowledge, professionalism, and compassion.
