David A. Petrill, CPA – Director

David joined Brady Ware in 2010, and serves as the firm's Columbus Office Tax Practice Leader. Formerly a director in industry and with a national firm, David's 20 years of experience in taxation includes a wide range of industries including retail, distribution, technology, manufacturing, professional services, transportation, construction, real estate, financial services, and non-profits.

David helps organizations manage their cash tax liabilities and effective tax rates. He has broad tax experience in the areas of provisions, uncertain positions, accounting methods, transactions, international, compliance, and audit representation.

David represented two companies that were subsequently purchased by private equity investors with initial public offerings in 2010. David has significant industry experience associated with initial public offerings, private equity investments, tax structuring, debt arrangements, treasury, and reporting.

David is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also participates in various roles with several charitable organizations in central Ohio.
